Faryal Zafar (Gold Medalist)
Clinical Psychologist | CBT Therapist | Lecturer Psychology (HED)
I am a PhD Scholar at the University of Peshawar with a strong academic and clinical background in psychology, including an MS degree and postgraduate training in Clinical Psychology and Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
Since beginning my professional work in 2018, I have gained extensive experience in both humanitarian and clinical settings, working with international organizations such as IRC, IOM, and UNICEF, alongside managing a private practice.
My clinical approach is primarily CBT-based and solution-focused, with an emphasis on lifestyle change, emotional regulation, and practical coping strategies rather than diagnostic labeling.
I support individuals facing anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, marital and academic challenges, and everyday life stressors. I also offer psychological assessments, career and academic counseling, and structured guidance for personal and professional development.
I provide a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space where clients can feel heard, reduce stigma, and work toward meaningful, sustainable wellbeing.
